Cancel a Salvage or Resurface in the crossfire and remove its card from the game.

Deploy a Squid token: a crew with 1 firepower and 2 hull.

Explained

Cancel a Salvage or Resurface in the crossfire and remove its card from the game.604.8
Choose a Salvage waiting in the crossfire, or a card deployed from a scrapyard with Resurface, either player's, when you deploy this; without one, you can't deploy it. It never resolves: the card is removed from the game, from the scrapyard or the crossfire. If it has left the crossfire by then, nothing happens (604.8).
Deploy a Squid token: a crew with 1 firepower and 2 hull.306.1a
After the rest of the card. A token is a card an ability makes (301.4). It is deployed like a crew card, at no cost: into the crossfire, where the opponent may react, or straight on board when no one can. It stops existing when it leaves the board.
