Deploy three Glider tokens in the mothership battle: crews with 1 firepower and 1 hull.
Jettison — deploy a Glider token: a crew with 1 firepower and 1 hull.
Explained
Counterfire802.12
You can deploy it only in an opponent's sortie phase, after dispatch (in the second window or the final one), while they have crew in the mothership battle attacking you. Never in your own turn, in a watch or before dispatch. It is checked then, not again as it resolves: if every attacker has left by then, it still does what it can (802.12). Attackers stay in the battle until the end of the sortie phase, so in the final window it reaches the ones that survived the battle.
As an extra cost, Refuel 2.306.5, 802.8
When you deploy it, besides the steam. Refuel 2: put 2 cards from your scrapyard on the bottom of your hold, in the order you choose. With fewer than 2 there, you can't pay it. It keeps your hold from running out; the cards aren't salvaged, so they don't count for the Sapper engine (802.8).
Deploy three Glider tokens in the mothership battle: crews with 1 firepower and 1 hull.703.8, 301.4
Each token is deployed into the crossfire, where the opponent may react, and comes on board in the mothership battle, on your side, exhausted, defending. They weren't dispatched, so no dispatch ability or ban applies to them. In the second window they fight in the battle step; in the final window they come too late to fight. They are back in your berth at the end of the sortie phase, still exhausted, and ready in your stoke phase. They stop existing when they leave the board (703.8, 301.4).
Jettison — deploy a Glider token: a crew with 1 firepower and 1 hull.802.7
When a Recon puts this card into your scrapyard, you may use this. Not when it is scrapped, dug or destroyed. In the sortie phase it goes into the crossfire first, and it can't be used if the card has left your scrapyard by then (802.7). A token is a card an ability makes (301.4). It is deployed like a crew card, at no cost: into the crossfire, where the opponent may react, or straight on board when no one can. It stops existing when it leaves the board.
